Sendai Earthquake: Words of sympathy from President Ed Grant

The thoughts and prayers of all of us at KCC-JEE go out to the earthquake victims, their loved ones and all those affected by this terrible disaster.  We are also praying for our many friends and colleagues at Kobe College, especially those who have connections in the Sendai area. KCC-JEE is currently organizing an emergency fund that will go out to those in the affected area. We are just in the beginning phase of raising these funds, but we will provide more details here on the website as our plan develops. We in America were very moved when Kobe College responded to the Hurricane Katrina disaster by supplying relief funds. In the face of another disaster of terrible magnitude, we are organizing to respond in kind.

Sendai Earthquake Fundraising Effort

KCC-JEE is happy and proud to announce that we have received a total of $4,295.00 from 26 people, including 13 Board members. We have closed the campaign and have remitted the amount to Kobe College, so that they can direct it the proper organizations in Japan. Thank you very much for your generous and compassionate hearts, and for expressing your support to those who are in need.
